Our Story

A sanctuary for unhurried prayer

We gather in the quiet of a historic urban pocket to practice stillness, study scripture, and seek liturgical depth away from modern religious performance.

Our Roots

A simple liturgical heritage

House of Prayer began as a gathering of weary seekers looking for spiritual depth. We chose to step away from high-production entertainment to reclaim the ancient, unhurried rhythms of Christian worship and sacred quiet.

In our historic chapel, we gather weekly to pray, listen, and share bread. We are rooted in the Seattle neighborhood, committed to serving our local urban pocket with quiet presence and unpretentious love.

Our Rhythms

Stillness, liturgy, and unhurried community.

We do not run a production. Instead, we anchor our days in quiet liturgy, weekly communion, and hospitality that welcomes your doubts, weariness, or quiet joy without pretense.

Our Shepherds

Walking alongside you

Our leadership team is committed to a quiet, unhurried presence. We do not offer performance-driven programs or polished corporate leadership. We are here to listen, pray, and walk with you through every season of doubt or joy.

We gather simply to be faithful to the liturgy and to one another. There is no stage here, only a table.
